Big switch off!

Children at The Hall, led by the Eco Club, have been taking part in the 'Big Switch Off' Campaign led by Leicestershire County Council. The campaign encourages everyone to turn off electrical appliances when not in use in order to save money, energy and the environment. The club members, led by Mrs Gohil, have been monitoring the school's energy use and all members of the community have been trying to support the project. Some of the members led an assembly to promote more understanding. They organised a special competition which the children could work on at home which involved decorating light switches or designing posters. The winners were announced in assembly each receiving some special prizes. The winning entries are now displayed on the school Eco Club's notice board.
