The Hall's new headteacher

The pupils, parents and governors of The Hall are delighted that Miss Hayden is to be the next Head Teacher.
Following two days of intensive scrutiny, with strong competition from an able and experienced range of candidates, a unanimous decision was reached and ratified that Miss Hayden should take the reins.

Under Miss Hayden's leadership and guidance, all that is best about The Hall will be retained and built upon and new developments will move the school onwards and upwards.

With The Hall looking to celebrate its Golden Jubilee this September, there could be no better time to begin this new and exciting chapter.

The vacancy has come about due to Keith Culverwell's retirement at the end of this academic year. Mr Culverwell has stated, "My decision (to retire) was not taken lightly. However, with the announcement of Miss Hayden's appointment, as you can imagine, the step is now that much easier. With Miss Hayden at the helm, surrounded by the wonderful, established staff team, continuity will be assured ensuring that our school moves forwards for the benefit of all our children."

Miss Hayden commented in his retirement speech, "The work of educating children continues. Mr Culverwell has given us something at The Hall that we will build on for generations of children to come. We wish him, his wife and family a long and happy retirement."
