Brownies' wizarding adventure

In June, the 4th Glenfield Brownies Unit took their Brownie adventure to a whole new level, delving into the magical world of witchcraft and wizardry to celebrate 20 years since the publication of the first Harry Potter novel.
The evening began dashing through the wall of Platform 9 ¾, to eagerly await the Sorting Hat ceremony. Once sorted into their houses, the Brownies got stuck into plenty of crafts and activities, all washed down with Hogsmeade's finest and most delicious butterbeer! They dabbled in the art of Divination to read their futures in tea leaves and showed exemplary creativity and teamwork to design and build a broomstick - worthy enough to contend with a Firebolt!
The night was a magical evening thoroughly enjoyed by Brownies and leaders alike and we all look forward to seeing what fun and exciting adventures the new term holds in store!
Brownies meet in Glenfield on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings. If your daughter would be interesting in joining, please contact Justina on: 07908 640732.
