All wrapped up

No excuse then for anyone. We should all now be giving beautiful gift wrapped presents after our talk by Tina Bax on (as you might have guessed ) Gift wrapping. She demonstrated how it should be done. In theory it looks very easy. No loose flaps , neatly folded ends and finished with a perfect bow. However we all had our doubts on whether our presents would actually look so good. She demonstrated an easy way to tie a bow and we all had a go, with varying degrees of success. Still at least we now know how it should be done!!!. Tina also showed us many ideas for decorating a parcel, including using cinnamon sticks to give a scent of Christmas. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening as Tina was an engaging tutor and the evening passed in a flash. Who knew you could do so much to gift wrap a present. There were even ideas on how to wrap awkward shaped presents, eg. if wrapping items of clothing put them in a box first or if there or several individual items then stand them all on a lid and tie the wrapping paper around them finishing off at the top.
