Register your daughter for Brownies

The 4th Glenfield Brownies enjoyed a fun-filled Winter Term in 2017 including a visit to Pets at Home, completing their Craft and Brownie Traditions badges and so much more! The Brownies also participated in Glenfield's Remembrance Parade alongside other uniformed organisations from the village to mark Remembrance Sunday.
In 2017, we started to celebrate 100 years of Girlguiding in Leicestershire. The 'Centenary Challenge' focuses on the 15 Divisions in our county and the things each Division wants to shout about and share with their friends across our guiding county. As part of the challenge, we looked first at "Blaby" and created our own mini golf courses. We certainly have some budding Lexie Thompsons and Charley Halls in our unit who could give Rory Mcllroy a run for his money!
We also learnt new sports skills with a super visit from coaches and members of the Winstanley Wizards Table Tennis Club who brought their expertise to teach the girls a range of table tennis skills.
We spent the term trying new things, enjoying old favourites and having lots of laughs!
We are honoured to be a part of a huge tradition for girls and women, and are lucky to have two active Brownie Units and a Guide Unit in our village. We currently have Brownie places available, if you require further information please contact: Justina Willott 07908 640732 or visit https://www.girlguiding.org.uk/information-for-parents/register-your-daughter/
