Madagascar's flora and fauna

Sue Ablett, a retired doctor and medical researcher gave us a fascinating talk on her trip to Madagascar. Since her retirement, Sue and her husband have travelled extensively all over the world on 'expedition cruises' to marvel at the diverse cultures and wildlife, taking photographs as they go.
Sue had never thought to share her experiences until a friend suggested it, so for the last ten years, she has talked to many groups and organisations showing the wonderful places she has visited and now has more than twenty five talks to choose from.
Clearly an accomplished speaker, Sue took us on an amazing tour of Madagascar and we marvelled at the lovely scenery and wildlife, most of which is indigenous to this lovely but very poor country.
Glenfield WI meets on the third Tuesday of the month in St. Peter's Church Hall @ 7.30 and visitors are assured of a very warm welcome for a nominal fee of £3.00. Please check out our Website (just search 'Glenfield WI' on your computer) to find out more about us and what we do.
Our March meeting, on the 20th is 'There's More to Tea than a Bag in a Mug' by Anna Stasinska and is something very different, so do please try and join us on the night.
