Messy church!

Does your mental picture of church include firing a water rocket 30+ feet into the air? Or getting a (temporary) butterfly tattoo? Or riding a Space Hopper to glory? If not, you've probably never been to Messy Church! Part of a movement which has grown throughout the country in the past 10 or 15 years, Messy Church is a way for every age to join together in exploring Christian faith through creativity, activity and celebration. Not to mention the full meal which is also part of every service. Messy Church Glenfield is run jointly by St Peter's and Glenfield Methodist Churches, and is on the third Sunday of each month, normally at St Peter's Church Centre, Church Road.

Following the summer special in August which happened out on Glenfield Primary School playing field so God's creation could be fully enjoyed (see pictures), the second birthday celebration of Messy Church Glenfield will be on Sunday 16 September. Everyone is welcome, either as part of a family or on their own - there's stuff anyone can do or join in with.
