Sport Relief challenge

It started on Thursday 22nd March, when The Martin High School in Anstey began to raise some serious cash for Sport Relief at its 24-hour challenge.
• Inspired by Sport Relief celebrity challenges past and present, The Martin High School took part in their own extreme challenge to raise money for Sport Relief. Students, staff members and the community were asked to run, bike and row continuously for 24 hours without letting the machines stop. The gruelling challenge started on Thursday 22nd at 1:45pm and finished on Friday 23rd March at 1:45pm.
We are so proud of our students for being a part of something special, with some huge accomplishments. We owe a huge amount of gratitude to the staff at The Martin High School who helped champion the event and completed lots of sessions on the machines – keeping the equipment going throughout the night. In addition to this, the local community rose to the occasion with an amazing effort in donating both money and time to the cause.
An unbelievable achievement in just 5 days
