Beaumanor Hall trip

The Year Four children from The Hall spent three days at Beaumanor Hall for their residential trip. The trip is designed to add a different dimension to their learning and develop their interpersonal skills including team work, trust, confidence and respect. Activities included archery, mastering the climbing walls, team challenges, survival skills and sensory problem solving games. The children arrived back at The Hall tired but very happy. They all expressed what fun the experience had been and as one pupil said, "I wish I could do it all again!" The children gained so much by spending the time away with their teachers. A special assembly was held for parents demonstrating the fun and learning the children experienced. As one parent remarked, "It is brilliant to see how the children have developed over their time away."
