European day of languages

Everyone at The Hall learns to speak French under the teaching of Mme Chollet. The Pre-school children are introduced at a very young age and the building blocks are developed year on year. At The Hall 26 different languages are spoken and so the opportunity to celebrate these life-long skills is always encouraged. Mme Chollet led a special assembly where the French club taught everyone about the culture of folk dancing across several regions of France. Two special guests visited – John had taught the children three folk dance routines which were demonstrated brilliantly and Ron played the fiddle expertly. Much fun was had by all. The visitors remarked how enthusiastic and well behaved the children were and keen to try out their spoken French confidently and proficiently.
