Harvest at The Hall

Special Harvest assemblies took place at The Hall with many families and friends supporting the children on this special occasion. The message of sharing in today's world was superbly portrayed through song, poetry and art work. Reverend Richard Trethewey from St. Peter's gave an exciting and thought provoking message. All the food gifts, including those grown by the gardening club, were donated to 'Action Homeless', a local Leicester Charity caring for families in crisis. Mr Tim Adkins from the organisation spoke to the children about the work of the Charity in providing support through the Food Bank for 200 families a day in Leicester. An incredible amount of produce was collected and the charity workers were amazed and grateful for the generosity and kindness of the school community
