Staying safe online

The Year 3 children at The Hall were given the opportunity to visit the Cedars Academy to take part in an E-Safety Theatre Production. The pantomime was called, 'Safe Online' and ensured the key messages of personal safety and responsibility when using the internet were explained in a fun and imaginative way. The children loved the strap line the characters used if they came across something that wasn't right when working or playing online: "Shut down the screen that you have seen, tell a trusted adult in a trice." They were able to follow up the production back at school by creating their own safety posters and messages. It was a valuable experience and as the children said, "It really made the messages stand out.'
