AGE CONCERN GLENFIELD welcomes neighbours (aged 60+) to our informal Drop-in for chat and friendship over tea/coffee/and biscuits – come to the Memorial Hall on Mondays 1–2.30 pm. As a small, all-voluntary local Charity, our open Committee Meetings are held at Park House from 2 p.m. on 3rd Tuesday of alternate months, with AGM in March. Queries to: Patsy Riley (232 0130)

CHRISTADELPHIANS hold Bible talks every Sunday evening at 6.00 (God willing) in The Scout Hall, Stamford Street. All are welcome.

CHURCHES TOGETHER IN GLENFIELD holds a Tuesday Club 2013 (6-9 year olds). Contact Claire Bell, 233 2387.

Rainbows (Age 5 to 7) - There is currently no unit owing to lack of leadership and assistance.
Brownies (Age 7 to 10) - Weekly meetings on Tuesdays (5.45 p.m. to 7.15 p.m.), Thursdays & Fridays (6.00 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.) Note: unfortunately, unless assistance is provided promptly, the Tuesday unit will be closing shortly.
Guides (Age 10 to 14) - Weekly meetings on Tuesdays, 7.30 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.

GLENFIELD ART GROUP meets in St. Peter's church centre on the second Wednesday of each month between November and March Inclusively. Time: 2pm to 4pm; cost: pay as you go £2 each meeting. Sue leads the group and often provides a still life arrangement Group participants should bring along to the meetings their own drawing or painting materials. There is no required level of skill or experience - informal support is there for those who ask.

GLENFIELD COUNTRY MARKET is every Friday 9.00am until 11.00am at St. Peter's Church Rooms. Home baked goods, fruits and vegetables, home grown plants, variety of hand made crafts. LOROS bookstall and refreshments. Free admission and everyone welcome.

GLENFIELD DISCUSSION GROUP meet every second week on Wednesday afternoons.
2pm to 3.30pm Memorial Hall.

GLENFIELD GARDENERS' meetings at St Peter's Church Centre, 7.30pm, 4th Tuesday in the month.

GLENFIELD LADIES COOPERATIVE CHOIR meet on a Monday evening at Glenfield Methodist Church, 7.30pm.

- 9.30pm. Everyone welcome. Planning Committee, same venue, 9.15am.

GLENFIELD PARK WI meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month in the
Memorial Hall at 7.30pm. New members are always welcome. Come and make new

GLENFIELD U3A meet on the 4th Thursday of each month 2pm, in St. Peter's Church Centre.

GLENWATCH MEETINGS are held in Park House on the first Wednesday of the month at 7pm.

The HAPPY HOUR CLUB meets on Wednesdays in the Memorial Hall from 2pm to 3.30pm. The club caters for Glenfield's Senior Citizens, who are invited for a cup of tea and a chat.

LADIES FELLOWSHIP meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday for the month. 2.30pm at Glenfield Methodist Church Hall. The Group is open to All ladies of the village. Come and enjoy cup of tea and chat and meet new friends. Various speakers and activities throughout the year!

MOTHERS UNION get together on the 2nd Thurs of the month, St Peters Church at 2.15pm.
